It takes a special person to work with children, and at University Station Academy we have strict requirements for those interested in joining our team.
All University Station Academy teachers and caregivers are trained and certified in early childhood development, and participate in continuing professional education and training courses. All of our teachers are CPR and first aid certified, and are required to keep their credentials current.
Rhonda Brodsky is the Director of University Station Academy. She started as a part-time teacher to be near her children and has worked her way up to director. Rhonda has been here for 5 years.
Heather Sliwinski is the Assistant Director of University Station Academy. She has been here for 8 years. Heather was a teacher for many years before she became Assistant Director. She also has a CDL and picks up the afterschoolers on the bus.
University Station Academy is supported by a staff of wonderful teachers, many of whom have worked for us for many years.
